Thrifty Thursday

I love polka dots, so when I found this skirt thrift shopping,
I thought I hit the jackpot……..until I tried it on.

It’s way too short, but of course I had to buy it for only $2.
I do not own a sewing machine, so cutting it shorter wasn’t an option……
so I decided to tie a knot in the skirt!
I love it, and it works, it’s just a little hard to walk in,
kind of like a pencil skirt.

Also, I want to say a public thank you to
my hairstylist Val Longhini from Hairsmiths in Houghton!
When I was in Michigan, she gave me a much needed cut and refreshed ombre!
